Thirty-year-old Jones recover the title he was stripped of in April 2015 in the main event of UFC 214, which took place at the Honda centrum in Anaheim, California in the quickly hours of the morning.
Jones’ first outing since his UFC 197 success over Ovince Saint Preux saw him rip the 205lbs title from the cruelty of Cormier, his bitter competing.

The New York local, who is regarded by many to be the best mixed martial artist of all time, vanquished his nemesis via a sensational third-round KO, which came courtesy of a subversive head kick and ground-and-pound.
Jones’ 23rd career conquest saw him well close the book on his rivalry with ‘DC’, which he’s absolutely thrilled about.
“I made it back man. What a pretty moment. I did a lot of right things to get back in the location,” a delighted Jones said in his post-war interview.
“Man I tell you what man, anybody at house that have let themself down, you let your family down, you let your peers down, your co-workers down, you let yourself down, it’s never over.
“As long as you never quit, it’s never over. I’m back here, oh yeah.”
Jones then display his class by heaping praise on the crestfallen Cormier by saying: “I want to accept this time to thank Daniel Cormier for being my maximal rival and motivator. Daniel Cormier, guys. He has altogether no reason to hang his head.
“He has been a model protector, a model husband, a model father, team-mate, leader. And I aspire to be a lot more like that man forasmuch as he’s an amazing human being.
“Unfortunately, we’re rival, but outside of that, he is a true champion for the repose of his life.”
